Thank you for your interest in presenting at DDNA’s upcoming annual education conference!

DDNA will submit all program/presentation applications for Continuing Education (CE) approval to a CE accrediting agency. For consideration, and to facilitate the approval process, please complete the application and upload the following:Resume or Curriculum Vitae for speaker/presenter – *please include a copy of the resume or CV for each presenter/speaker.

  • An outline of the program’s content – include major points and sub-points of discussion.

  • Presentations must be provided to the audience in a PowerPoint format, and submitted to DDNA in digital form in advance of the conference, to allow for content inclusion in the conference handout materials. (PowerPoint not required/applicable for Poster Presentations.)

You may submit an application for the 2021 conference, May 14-17, 2021 in San Antonio, TX.

Application review for 2021 will not begin until September 2020.

Application Deadline: September 30, 2020

  • NOTE: Once submitted to CE committee, presentation titles cannot be changed.
  • Example: RN, CDDN, PhD, etc
  • Example: The nurse will be able to identify the Standards of I/DD Nursing Practice and describe the special considerations required when providing support to the person with IDD, enabling the nurse to effectively coordinate health services and educate caregivers.
  • Example: The Role of the Nurse in Health Support: Healthcare Coordinator, Advocate, Educator, IDT Member | Standards of I/DD Nursing Practice | The Nursing Process: Assessment – Diagnosis – Objective – Planning – Implementation – Evaluation | Special Considerations for the nurse when providing health support to persons with I/DD
  • Example: Lecture, Review & Discussion
