CE from DDNA

2011 Annual Conference CE:  Deadline for Submitting Evaluations

You can use CE earned at the DDNA Annual Education Conference toward your certification renewal and your state nursing license renewal. To obtain your conference CE certificates, log in and select the "Conference CE" link in the "Quick links" box. You can evaluate the sessions you attended and print out your CE certificates.The deadline for submitting your conference evaluations for CE is
July 15th, 2011 by midnight ET.  DDNA must have this information to complete a mandatory CE report on conference outcomes by this deadline. 

If you do not submit your session evaluations by midnight ET on July 15th, you will still be able to print out "certificates of completion," which may or may not be accepted by your state for relicensure purposes.  A certificate of completion will be accepted by DDNA for CDDN or DDC recertification purposes. 

Member-only free CE

Members of DDNA have access to more than 70 hours of FREE I/DD-specific CE. This courseware is approved by DDNA for continuing education and can be used toward your CDDN or DDC renewal. It is available free to DDNA members only. To access these courses and the instructions, log in and select the "Member-only free CE" link in the "Quick links" box.

If it has been more than a year since you first registered to take the courses, login (at the top of this page), then click on "Member-only free CE" for directions on how to renew your subscription to these courses.

Want to offer CE?

Is your Nurse Network, agency, or work place planning an educational program specifically related to developmental disabilities nursing? Would you like to offer a certificate that nurse attendees can use toward documenting their required education hours for CDDN or DDC certification? You can submit an application to have your offering recognized as being acceptable for CDDN or DDC renewal purposes. Download the continuing education documentation forms.

Please note: All hours for which approval is requested must be offered on the same day and/or on consecutive days during the same conference. Educational offerings for more than 3 hours will be approved ONLY for offering dates at least 15 days before or 60 days after the date of DDNA's Annual Education Conference.
